The fourth Charity Series of Poker event took place on July 5, 2015 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and it exceeded our high expectations. After all the numbers were crunched, our players helped raise $42,000 to benefit our friends at Three Square Food Bank, enough money for this fantastic organization to supply more than 125,000 meals to those in need.
The event began with a cocktail party on the Mezzanine Level before the entertaining business of poker was underway. The tournament drew top pros along with casual players looking to have a good time for a great cause. Oscar-nominated actor James Woods was the guest of honor and he was joined Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, Matt Stout, Gavin Smith, Lacey Jones, Asher Conniff, Ronnie Bardah, Brian Hastings, defending champ Andrew Brown, WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno, and many many more.
We had 87 players take a seat in the tournament and they called “rebuy” an amazing 347 times during the evening with another 162 add-ons when registration closed. An incredible showing and we quickly surpassed the $14,605 raised in our inaugural Planet Hollywood event last summer.
The Charity Series of Poker could not have made it happen without the involvement the fine group at Planet Hollywood and our friends helping out from All-American Dave’s Fit Food Truck. Michael Frazin was our Event #6 champion but it was Three Square Food Bank and those they benefit who were the real winners.

- Michael Frazin – $15,000
- Adam Small – $10,125
- Matt Stout – $6,000

- Peter Lubrano – $2,625
